Venture Development Intern

Your role at informed

We are in the early stages of the company and our product is still in beta testing. Help us to tap into the huge potential of delivering journalistic content to a young audience in a new and innovative way. We are aiming to 10x our growth by the end of the summer and this will be fully your responsibility. You will outline and test our growth strategy by working closely with the founding team. Conduct independent research on potential growth channels for informed and validate your hypothesis by executing fast and iterating on your proposed tactics. Once you identify a high potential channel, actively lead its development and expansion. Identify, collect, manage and analyze relevant business data that will help you fine-tune your strategy. Be ready to be bold and cold-call people, think out of the box, and close partnerships with major brands and players at lightning speed.

That's you

Excellent academic background in economics, computer science, industrial engineering, or related field. Final/semi-final year of Master's studies
First experience in highly competitive environments such as management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or a high-growth start-up is a plus
Being interested and passionate about growth startups and changing the news industry together with an international team
Strong analytical and communication skills as well as a hands-on mentality - only the implementation satisfies you
Being a flexible generalist and solution-oriented pragmatic as well as proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint, Notion, and other tools
Ability to speak directly with customers, partners, competitors, and investors and take the initiative to get involved
Proficiency in English

We are an editorial, engineering & design-driven team based in Berlin, working remote-first building the next go-to platform for journalism.

As we are still a small team, we are hiring around our home base, Berlin, thus all open roles are remote with the limitation of +/-4h timezones around Berlin to create enough overlap with the whole team.
